The actor became emotional while speaking about his father Allu Aravind and broke down to tears. The video of Naa Peru Surya actor speaking about his beloved father is going viral on social media.

He said, “Generally, My father and I feel shy to speak about each other and it is a sentiment that we follow in my family. We love each other but never speak about it in public. Even if we are angry with each other, we never show it in public. We keep it within us.”

Here’s the video:

Addressing the gathering, Allu Arjun said that he has never thanked his father before. “My father produced my first film and he launched me in a big way. After that, I have done around 20 movies. We have worked together in some. A few were hit, while others flopped. But, I have never said thanks to him even at home. For the first in my life, I’m saying this, ‘Thank you, daddy!'” he added.

As he was thanking his father, he teared up. His speech was met with a lot of cheer, hoots and whistles. “Thank you is not just for doing movies with me. I realised one thing after the birth of my son. I will never become greater than my father. I wish I would become at least half of him. I love my father more than anything in this world. I never had an opportunity to tell him. I think this is one of the best opportunity to tell my daddy I love you. I never told you. Thank you! Thank you!” he remarked.

Seeing his son Allu Arjun battling tears during his speech, Allu Aravind made his way to the stage and gave him a big hug.
